No Cook Backpacking Recipes

No cook backpacking recipes are fantastic for many reasons. From being able to eat a real lunch while hiking long days (so much better than facing another rock hard energy bar), to not having to cook in a downpour to just carrying less gear (and weight). These 6 recipes will get you going, and find something new to try.

Harvest Chicken Salad Wraps – Also good just eating straight out of the bag, it has the crunch you miss when hiking: nuts, apples & celery.

Herbed Tomato Couscous Salad – Couscous is great for no cook meals, it just needs 15 minutes to rehydrate. With cool water.

Pecan Chicken Salad – 3 ingredients. No wait time. Great on tortillas. Or just out of the bag. Add your favorite dried fruit and vegetables that you rehydrate before.

Tuna Lemon Couscous – Add cool water and ignore for a few. Then enjoy a meal that will fill you up.

Asian Inspired Chicken Slaw Wraps – Crunchy, and fresh for the trail.

Lentil Couscous Salad – Hippy Hut™ approved…..
