2024 Roundup: Commercial Meal Reviews

Looking back at 2024, we reviewed quite a few commercial meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and yes, even dessert) on TrailCooking’s blog. Some were downright awful, some were middle-of-the-road, and a few were amazing.

Starting in January 2024 and working our way to the end of the year, if you missed any of them, you can check them out now…in this long week before the New Year.

As always, we buy most of the commercial outdoor meals we review. Some are sent to us by the companies, and we always let you know in the review. We try to be fair in our reviews and find positives to talk about because taste is subjective, after all. I can attest that we have tried a few over the years that had zero positives to mention. And my goal is to keep you, my reader, from being 15 miles out and facing that as your only option as you go hungry. I have had that happen, one of the biggest reasons I found my career.
