Food Find: Cup Noodles Ramen Bistro

Looking for an easy trash meal at the grocery store to take along? Yes, it isn’t healthy food. It’s carbs. But if you want a cup of flavourful noodles, check out the line from Cup Noodles Ramen Bistro.

There are three flavors in the line, and all are good. They have enough spice and heat to make a great meal or snack.

I encourage you to make them my way: Fill with boiled water, cover, and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes to fully rehydrate the noodles. Stir and drain off the water, and eat as a bowl of noodles. I do it because I like the noodles and vegetables fully rehydrated, but I also skip a chunk of the sodium by not consuming the broth.

Japanese Miso flavor.

There is just enough spice and heat, and not too much. However, if you don’t like heat at all, you may not like this. I found them so flavorful, and the cabbage rehydrates well. It’s very satisfying.

Sichuan Garlic Chicken flavor.

Yes, it has a back heat, but it’s very delicious for ramen.

Korean Gochujang Beef flavor.

These are the spiciest of the three. It’s got a great flavor.

All three flavors are quite tasty – and bring a new flavor profile to an old school product.
