The Sweet Ending To A Meal In The Outdoors

Milk chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows.

All three barely interest me on their own. I might nibble on the chocolate, but I’ll pass on the crackers and cold marshmallows.

But a melty, golden marshmallow layered on top of melting chocolate on a crisp cracker?

It’s a sticky, messy dessert around a campfire that is so pure. So American.

First mentioned in 1927, in a Girl Scout manual, it’s the best part of outdoor eating. I truly hope that in 100 years, we are still eating this dessert, which reeks of campfire. To have children with sticky fingers and faces, as the sun sets.

Life is good outside.

And ooh, so I roasted up ChocZero’s Smallows tonight as well. They are keto-friendly, sugar-free marshmallows. When roasted, the texture and flavor change completely. They become pillowy, crunchy pockets and taste amazing. If you love sugar-free options, you have to try the Smallows out roasted.

Find them on ChocZero’s website or on Amazon.

But most of all…keep this tradition going.
