Food Find: Nature’s Garden Probiotic Yoggies Trail Mix

I came across these snacks at a Food Lion in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, in the nuts-and-trail-mix section. Since then, I have seen their other products at various stores across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Nature’s Garden makes them, and I realized after buying them that I had purchased other trail mixes from them in the past that were nuts/seed/dried fruit blends under different names at Grocery Outlet stores in the Pacific Northwest.

Oddly, the trail mix isn’t on their website, so I reached out to see if it was a new product or one going away. I finally got a reply, which was weird and made me think it was AI-generated (possibly), stating that the product was sold at various grocery and big-box stores. It definitely wasn’t a personal reply. So yeah, your mileage may vary with this one. As far as I can tell, it’s a new product. But leaving it off a website is just odd.

They are tiny snack bags of probiotic trail mix, and come in two flavor profiles. I picked up the Strawberry flavor to try. There is also Mixed Berry.

While the bags are not big, they are very satisfying—great flavors and a good mix of crunchy nuts and seeds, and chewy items.

The “yoggies” are also sold separately, if that is all one wants. I have seen those sold in the dried fruit section of various stores.

The closest thing I can find online is this on Amazon. The price is awful, though. We paid well under $10 for the box we bought.

I’d try the other flavors; they were good-tasting and convenient for a quick snack. But not being able to get them online seems …. so odd.
