A recent find at Aldi’s was their bags of dark chocolate covered freeze-dried strawberries 🍓.
They also had banana 🍌 slices as well.
At $3.69 a bag, it’s an affordable luxury treat.
I’ve had dried strawberries enrobed in chocolate, which are chewy. The texture difference is far better using crispy freeze-dried berries.
Fair warning, I’d buy them now and carry in the fall if it is warm where you live or hike, as they are likely to melt. But I would buy now, as often items move quickly there.
