CyndiH’s Super Oatmeal

Ingredients:
- 2 packets instant oatmeal
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp dry milk
- 1 Tbsp dried cranberries
- 1 Tbsp chopped dried dates
- 1 Tbsp chopped almonds
Instructions:
At home pack everything in a pint freezer or sandwich bag. Mark bag “Add 1 cup water”.
FBC method:
Add 1 cup near boiling water. Stir well, seal tightly and put in a cozy for 5 minutes.
Insulated mug method:
Add 1 cup boiling water. Stir well, cover tightly and let sit for 5 minutes.
Serves 1.
Notes:
Plain or flavored oatmeal, your choice, either works well.
For a vegan version use rice, soy, or coconut milk powder, and a vegan friendly instant oatmeal.
