Freeze Drying

So You Got A Freeze-Dryer For Christmas: Let’s Get Producing

We are almost a month out from Christmas….and I can tell you from experience that once your new toy shows up, it might sit awhile. It can be overwhelming to look at your new freeze-dryer, even after you break it out of the packaging.

But let’s get going!

Prices have remained steady, and more people are purchasing a freeze-dryer each year to produce their own ingredients and meals. Even Costco and Tractor Supply have been in the game for the past few years, selling the smallest Harvest Right machine.

But once you unpack the machine, and probably a little in shock at how big they can be, get it set up…and well….what is the first thing to produce in it? (And we all know most people do Skittles….). It can be a bit overwhelming. I can help you walk through it with plenty of ideas! That is not just candy….instead, you can build a huge pantry of freeze-dried ingredients, full meals, and snacks/desserts. And even on how to package it, so that it lasts for years.

Not sure if you “need” a freeze-dryer?
