Gear Review: Cirkul Metal Bottle

Last year, I reviewed the standard 22-ounce Cirkul water bottle on the blog. Recently, they debuted a new 32-ounce Cirkul bottle in stainless steel. It comes in a variety of very trendy colors. The small Walmart 30+ miles away had the hit pink, light pink, and chameleon colors in a setup in the aisle.

Who needs Stanley when you can have this?

That color…

I caved and picked up the starter kit for around $30 at Walmart. While I often pick up refills on Cirkul’s website directly, the new starter kits seem to be an in person thing, for now. And are a real deal on the price.

It comes with 2 flavor cartridges.

The new stainless steel bottles come with flavors reflecting the color of the bottle. The pink ones have pink flavors.

The color shifts in the sun.

While it came with two cartridges, I opened up Horchata that I had ordered online. Why not? It sounded fun to me.

To see all the flavors Cirkul sells, head to the website. They do both subscriptions and one-time sales. They offer naturally flavored (no sugar), stevia, and sucralose options, coffee, tea, and energy drinks. There’s a flavor for nearly everyone, and all are dial-in the flavor to your preference.

Horchata and iced coffee.

I like having 10-ounces more water along for hikes, and I really like having it in metal. Did I need to buy it? Probably not, but it’s spring, and my hiking season needed it.
