Red, White, and Black Trail Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 pouch of white chocolate chips
- 1 pouch of semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 pouch of dried cranberries
- 1 can hazelnuts
Instructions:
Mix in a bowl at home and store in portions in plastic bags.
Notes:
In summer, bury your gorp/trail mixes deep in your pack. Putting your trail mix into snack-sized bags is a good idea for two reasons: 1) It keeps it fresh. 2) It keeps dirty hands from double and triple-dipping into the food. This reduces virus spreading while hiking with partners if they are not washing their hands.
