Rustic Pasta

In a sandwich bag:

  • 8 ounces small pasta

In a snack size bag:

  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp hulled hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic

Also take:

  • 2 packets or 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4.3 ounce bag shelf stable crumbled bacon

Directions:

Bring a pot of water to boil (for best results use a 1.7 to 2 liter size pot). Add in pasta, cook for time on package, lowering flame so it doesn’t boil over.

Drain carefully, leaving about a Tablespoon water behind. Add in oil, seasoning bag, and half the bacon. Stir till coated.

Serves 2.

Note:

Use half the bag of the bacon in the pasta, seal bag tightly and use the other half in the morning – it goes great in eggs!
