One Pot Method:

In a small pot, bring 1¼ cups water to a boil. Add the ingredients, stir well, and cover tightly. Remove the pot from the stove and let it rest for 10 minutes. In cooler weather or at altitude, stash the pot in a cozy pot.

Serves 1.

Note:

To boost the calorie count, add 1 Tablespoon or 1 packet of olive oil. If desired, add more cheese on top. For larger appetites, use up to ¼ cup more of dried meat (add a Tablespoon more water for each Tablespoon of dried meat).
