Apple “Pie” Pudding

I don’t remember which reader sent me this recipe, but it was a long time ago, in the first years of the website.

In our quest to revisit all the recipes on TrailCooking, I finally made this recipe (nearly all recipes on the site were developed by me, but this was one of the few I hadn’t made). I wouldn’t call it a pudding, rather it reminds me of an apple crisp.

It has a pleasant apple flavor, and it works. It’s an unusual dessert, though.

Add a Tablespoon or more water if you want it to be moister.
