Candy De-Lite
Ingredients:
- 1 can cashew pieces
- 1 package of butterscotch chips
- 1 package peanut butter chips
- 1 pouch yogurt yogurt-covered raisins
- 1 pouch of dried cranberries
At home:
Mix in a bowl and store in plastic bags, storing as much as you would like to eat at a time.
Notes:
In summer, bury your gorp/trail mixes deep in your pack.
Putting your trail mix into snack-sized bags is a good idea for 2 reasons: 1) It keeps it fresh. 2) It keeps down dirty hands from double and triple-dipping into the food. This cuts down on the spread of viruses while hiking with partners.
