Creamy Mushroom Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup instant rice
- 2 Tbsp crumbled dried mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp dry milk
- 2 Tbsp dry cream of mushroom soup mix
Instructions:
At home pack all the ingredients in a quart freezer or sandwich bag.
Freezer bag method:
Add 1½ cups near boiling water. Stir well, seal tightly and put in cozy for 15 minutes. Stir well.
Insulated mug method:
Add 1½ cups boiling water to dry ingredients. stir well, cover tightly and let sit for 15 minutes. Stir well.
Serves 1.
Notes:
Use 2 to 4 Tablespoons dry mix, or to taste. Look in the Dry Mixes on the site for the soup mix we have developed.
