BBQ Beef Bowl
Pack in a quart freezer bag or sandwich bag:
- 1 cup instant rice
- ¼ cup freeze-dried hamburger
- ¼ cup freeze-dried corn
- ¼ cup freeze-dried cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dried diced onion
Also take:
- 1 packet or 1 Tbsp oil
- 2 to 4 packets BBQ sauce (They come in ½ to 1 ounce packets/tubs)
One Pot Method:
Bring 1½ cups water, oil and half the BBQ sauce to a boil in a small pot. Add in dry ingredients, stir well. Turn off stove, cover tightly and let sit for 15 minutes. In cool temperatures, or at higher-altitude, place covered pot in a pot cozy to retain heat.
Stir well, top with remaining BBQ sauce and enjoy.
FBC Method:
Place freezer bag in FBC Cozy, add in 1½ cups boiled water and oil and half the BBQ sauce into bag. Stir well, seal tightly and let sit for 15 minutes. Stir, and top with remaining BBQ sauce as desired.
