A recent favorite hike on Whidbey Island was hiking to Waterman Rock, the second largest glacial erratic on the island. Well worth the visit.
It’s the largest public glacial erratic as well, and an easy hike in. The hike also follows an old air strip, that is slowly being reclaimed by the woods.
